About Me

I am Raluca Lara Radu, Founder and Managing Director of the LegallySaid Accelerator, whose mission is to help investors and social entrepreneurs build resilient, impact-focused companies and increase the reach of impact capital.

I’ve spent my career supporting ambitious social entrepreneurs in growing their businesses, making investing more sustainable and inclusive, and reshaping the legal profession to better serve the transformation of our economies.

I’ve worked with organisations from around the world to strengthen their mission, operations and commercial proposition while considering the realities of doing business – no unnecessary legalese and complicated stuff. 

One of my career highlights was serving as the first in-house counsel for Fairphone, a leading Dutch tech social enterprise. Guiding its growth from inception to over €50 million in fundraising has provided invaluable insights into the challenges of scaling and funding sustainable entrepreneurship.

As a Co-Founder of the Legal Innovation for Sustainable Investments (LISI) Foundation, I’ve been dedicated to advancing legal models for sustainable investments. Our work includes creating the open-source Impact Term Sheet, recognized with the 2023 Dutch Legal Awards prize, which aims to facilitate more impactful equity investments worldwide.
